Jewelry Buying Guide

A LITTLE GUIDANCE, A PERSONAL CHOICE

Find the piece that feels like you.

Start with the color you love, then check the material, proportions and timing. These small details make choosing online easier.

Necklaces for a detail close to the face · Earrings for color and movement · Bracelets for layering.

Understand the material

Gold-plated silver: a gold surface over silver. Check each piece’s description for the specified metal and finish. The gold layer can wear with use; remove it before showering, swimming or exercise, and keep perfume and lotions away.

Rhodium-plated silver: a silver base with a bright rhodium surface. This is a plated finish; its surface can wear over time. Check the product description for the specified base metal and follow its care guidance.

Deciding between warm and cool tones? Our gold or silver jewelry guide helps you compare finishes with the pieces you already wear.

Bronze and brass: warm-toned alloys, each with its own character. Their color can deepen with wear. Store dry and follow the product’s care instructions.

Gemstones and pearls: look closely at the stated stone name and photographs. Natural stones vary in color and markings; freshwater pearls vary in shape and luster. Mother-of-pearl is the lustrous lining of a shell. If a treatment or metal composition matters to you, ask us about the specific piece before ordering.

Picture the fit

  • Necklaces: measure a favorite chain, then compare its length and pendant drop with the listing. Adjustable chains give a range of lengths.
  • Earrings: compare the stated drop with a pair you already wear. Check the closure and whether pierced ears are required.
  • Bracelets: compare your wrist measurement with the listed fit range and closure.

A few questions before you choose

Where will a 16–18-inch necklace sit?

The same chain length sits differently on different people. Measure a necklace you like from end to end, then compare that length with the listing. Check the pendant drop too: it adds length below the chain. Browse necklaces with their individual fit details.

Will an adjustable bracelet fit every wrist?

A sliding clasp lets you adjust the chain, but it does not guarantee every wrist size will fit. Several Amra listings do not have a supplier-confirmed size range. Measure your wrist and ask us about the specific bracelet before ordering if the range is missing.

How can I judge earring length online?

Compare the stated drop with a pair you already wear. Check whether the measurement includes the hook, and ask if the listing does not specify. Our earring collection includes compact drops and longer silhouettes; the gemstone color and scale guide can help you choose the overall look.

Allow time for preparation and delivery

The dispatch estimate on a product page is the preparation time before shipment. Carrier transit comes afterward. Pieces from different suppliers may arrive separately. If you need a gift by a specific date, check with us before ordering; selecting faster shipping does not shorten the time needed to prepare a piece.

Read shipping and order guidance.
